Zhuzhou Smelter's 300,000 tpy zinc project

Keywords:

Zhuzhou Smelter, China’s largest zinc smelter, plans to build a new zinc smelting project with 300,000 tonnes per year of capacity. The project will have an estimated initial investment of 5.07 billion yuan ($760 million) and is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.

The project in Shuikoushan, in China’s Hunan province, is set to replace the company’s 450,000 tpy smelter in the Chinese city of Zhuzhou, also in Hunan, which will shut at the end of 2018.
