Amreli Steels increasing rebar capacity to 750,000 tpy

Pakistani rebar producer Amreli Steels will increase its rebar production capacity to 750,000 tonnes per year over the next two years. The company produces 180,000 tpy of rebar and 200,000 tpy of billet at its facilities in the Sindh Industrial Trading Estate, Karachi. It plans to raise rebar production in Karachi to 325,000 tonnes in 2019, and its billet output to 600,000 tpy, it said.
